Write for us
We welcome pitches that make comedy easier to notice, understand or discuss. Send proposals through the Contact page, with enough detail for us to see the idea and the shape of the piece.
What to pitch
We consider clear, original proposals about comic writing, character, timing, performance, formats and comedy history. A useful pitch starts with a specific question or example and explains what readers will understand by the end.
Make the proposal concrete
Tell us the working angle, why it suits Inspired Comedy Review and how you would develop it. Mention the kind of examples or sources you would use, and flag any relevant conflicts or commercial interests. A broad topic alone is not yet a pitch.
How to send it
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial option. Include your name, a way to reply and a concise proposal. Please do not send confidential material or assume a pitch has been accepted until you receive a response.
Laughter has a point of view
Comedy is pleasure and construction at once. We look at the choices behind the laugh, without pretending every joke works for every audience.
